A Learning Advocate
Ashley was born and raised in Pill and has trained to become a tutor at a RISE centre, to teach courses in graffiti art. Before becoming involved with RISE Ashley was studying part-time at college and had a part-time manual labour job.
RISE appealed to Ashley because he wants to help people in his local area.
He says “Young people from Pill are often looked down upon and I want to be part of something that is creating opportunities for them. When I was younger I was no stranger to getting into trouble, but as I got a bit older I realised that there was more to life and I want to share that message with other local youngsters.”
Ashley has always had a passion for graffiti art and has spent recent years building an impressive portfolio of work.
